Tis the Season to Be Freezin’

 

  1. Cute story which means it did its job. Reminded me of when Flash made that toy delivery to the prison in that one Justice League episode.
  2. Too ridiculous for me sorry.
  3. I’m sorry but Bizarro logic and reverse speech is done so poorly 9 times outta 10 to me. Just more annoying than anything.
  4. Simple but whatever. Could be a cool dynamic. 
  5. Just don’t care about these characters. 
  6. Read and forget. 
  7. Back to a good story. I like when Flash and Captain Cold find this very reasonable common ground. 
  8. Is their official team name really the JLQ?
Not memorable but also just fine.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
