DCeased: A Good Day to Die


I’m just not the biggest fan of Tom Taylor’s humor. I wish some of the serious moments were given more breath, but this is a less serious issue. I wish this issue could stand alone, I really don’t like one-shots that aren’t a full story and just feel like extra parts or scraps.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
