Green Leader

 The silence really added so much to the atmosphere. Just an empty feeling of hopelessness. The vastness of an inevitable outcome. The soldiers completed their goal, but it’s hard to even call that a success. There is no victory there. Short, but it’s DWJ, of course the emotions are still there. It’s a good display of how much war takes. Although they were on the winning side, both in the context of this story and in Star Wars overall, a loving couple was lost. Gone.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
