Lex Luthor: The Unauthorized Biography

Good story. I like the perspective of a normal guy who's finding out about the depths of /lex Luthor's evils, and how Clark Kent is using the interrogation to also find out what happened. I wish we got to sit more with Peter Sands' paranoia and really reinforce the idea that t his is a pretty average loser who is being targeted by this powerful man with endless connections. Also, Lex shows why he is such a great figure for Superman to face as a supervillain by being so totally evil and using his vast resources and intelligence for suffering. There is also so much to be said about the beautiful art and coloring. Great comic.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
