Superman: Where Is Thy Sting?

Hopeful yet existential Supes deals with survivors guilt. What a story. Sharp’s art is perfectly dynamic and shifting which is a wonderful fit for the change and absurdity presented through the writing. I love this wholesome Superman, who is still not quite perfect. This is just scratching the surface, there's so much depth to this comic. Really great read.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
