This was really good. Clark IS Superman. And Superman is Clark. Hard concept for some people. Loved seeing how much he enjoyed being just a regular Clark Kent, but still did so much good. Lois was written incredibly well here, not just understanding, but loving both parts of his life. The best parts of this issue was when Supes was depowered, which I found interesting. It was great seeing him adapt so well while missing a few things. Just full of so much hope and life. This is Superman.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
