Sandman Presents: Bast Issue #1

I like the beginning with Bast, I thought her struggle over being forgotten was an interesting choice. So far Josh and Lucy have been super unlikeable, even considering their circumstances.

Sandman Presents: Bast Issue #2 

Just alright. I feel like some characters are just so heavily exaggerated, like the dad, so their actions didn't feel super impactful.

Sandman Presents: Bast Issue #3 

This had so much going on very quickly and then it all turned back to normal. It was a boring resolution.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
