Magik Issue #1

Some thoughts: Don't like this design at all. Thought this was gonna be a story about Illyana. The art quality is definitely mixed. I wasn't a big fan of the plot, but I hope in next issue things pick up.

Magik Issue #2

The plot is still boring to me, I can can already feel how unmemorable it is. i also think the mixed media visuals does no favor for the quality. I don't think it works visually and isn't needed on a thematic level either.

Magik Issue #3

More of the same, but I think this issue was especially weak art wise.

Magik Issue #4 

I didn't like this one. I think Liam Sharp's work definitely improved over time.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
