Roy's anger here is understandable, but very quickly turning to bitterness. The death of Lian being described in detail was a brutally dark moment.

This was a HORRIBLE issue for Roy. His blind anger towards everyone is just pathetic. Even as an emotional mess, it's just stupid how violently he's lashing out at everyone. Nobody's even reacting to it really, they're just letting him go crazy. I don't care what he's been through, strangling Mia and calling Donna a whore whose son died because she's a bad mother is where someone steps in. Hard.

Wow this sucks. I think the worst part of this story is that this display of grief is so one-dimensional. We get almost no depth and reaction from Roy other than pure anger. It's such a shallow way to depict such a horrible situation.

This sucked. The hallucinations were such a stupid way to convey his state of mind.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
