Future State: Immortal Wonder Woman Issue #1

Diana at the end of time is super interesting. I usually don't like that art style, but I thought it fit perfectly here. The older designs were spot-on and I thought a lot of emotions were conveyed through the art. It also fit well with the vivid coloring. The Nubia story didn't interest me that much, but I liked seeing Grail. She's not really anything special, but I just like seeing her appear in things for some reason.

That Diana story gave me chills. Beautifully sad. And hopeful still.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
