Bloodseed

Bloodseed Issue #1

I like the instinctual framing of the story, with Bloodseed fighting for his life and for revenge. The pacing this issue was definitely off, moving slow at first, then dropping a lot of information without expanding on what it really means. I enjoyed this issue, but I hope next issue takes its time more.

Decently fun, but I can see why it only lasted two issues, unfortunately. Pretty convoluted narrative and a shocking lack of worldbuilding.

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
