A Death Gallery

Such a striking design. I love how Gaiman put it that "she arrived in my head about a week after her brother." Design does a great job at conveying that she is someone who cares. There is a simplicity to it, but also some spunk, some energy, some life. Love it.

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
