this just feels useless. it's an attempt to characterize the original gwen, but it's kinda just way too late to go this far back and try to give more depth to her. especially considering there's only two issues to work with and this first one doesn't reveal much, or at least anything that makes her more interesting

X-Men vs The Brood

Issue #1 Interesting to see how the different Brood factions operate. One that just wants to kill all they can and propagate and one that seeks to protect the Queen and maintain a hierarchy. Hannah is a tragic character.  Issue #2 Decent special. I liked some of the writing like Wolverine being God’s strangest angel, but some of the religious elements felt too melodramatic when there could have been a real connection to the faith of the characters compared to the trials they were put through. Pretty good prose, rough dialogue.
